Teachers' Union: Salary Stability Means Stability for the Next Academic Year
SadaNews - The Palestinian Teachers' Union stated: "We affirm that the full salary is a right for all workers in the Ministry of Education, and the Palestinian government must find suitable solutions to pay it in full, regardless of the occupation's piracy of the clearance funds.
The union continued in a statement it issued: "Our decision is clear: 'Stability in salary payments means stability for the next academic year.'"
It added: The Palestinian government must find appropriate and binding executive mechanisms to implement what it has announced regarding enhancing the steadfastness of employees, ensuring a clear mechanism for paying various government service fees from the dues.
It said: In order to alleviate financial burdens on employees due to the financial crisis, the working hours of administrators at the Ministry of Education and its directorates will be reduced to two days a week.
