Jordanian Army Evacuates 35 Children from Gaza for Treatment in Jordan
SadaNews - On Wednesday, the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, evacuated the seventh batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, which included 35 children accompanied by 72 guardians, to receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.
This batch is the largest in terms of the number of patients evacuated since the launch of the initiative last March under royal directives, bringing the total number to 112 children, accompanied by 241 guardians.
The medical evacuation process was carried out with the highest levels of coordination and medical care, as the patients and their companions were transported overland via the King Hussein Bridge under strict procedures and the supervision of specialized teams.
The armed forces, in collaboration with the relevant authorities, continue their efforts to evacuate more sick children from the Gaza Strip, despite the various logistical and technical challenges facing the evacuation operations.
