Mustafa Discusses with the New UN Coordinator in Palestine the Latest Developments and the Need to Intensify Relief Efforts

SadaNews - On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa met in his office in Ramallah with the new UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in the occupied Palestinian territory, and the Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Ramiz Akbarov. He briefed him on the latest developments in light of the ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza, and the continued aggression of the occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Mustafa discussed with Akbarov, in the presence of Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Stefan Salama, and Minister of Social Development, Simah Hamad, ways to enhance coordination and intensify relief efforts in Gaza once the aggression ceases, and to begin the reconstruction process.

The Prime Minister commended the pivotal role of all UN institutions, especially UNRWA, in partnership with the government to provide relief to the people of Gaza, in addition to the efforts being made in the West Bank.
