Israeli Military Reinforcements at the Syrian Border and Activation of a Fourth Company
SadaNews - The Israeli army radio reported that the army is reinforcing its forces at the Syrian border out of fear of Druze from Israel breaching the border fence.
It added: "The army is activating a fourth company as part of its forces' reinforcement at the Syrian border."
This Israeli mobilization comes alongside statements from the Israeli Defense Minister, who vowed to continue bombing Syria, despite a request from the Donald Trump administration for Israel to stop attacking Syrian army forces in the south of the country, according to Axios news site, citing a U.S. official yesterday, Tuesday.
The U.S. source added that Israel promised Washington to cease its attacks on Syrian army forces starting from last night, Tuesday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - wanted by the International Criminal Court - and Defense Minister Israel Katz had ordered the army to launch an attack on the Syrian regime's forces in Suweida, and on the weapons that had been introduced into the governorate.
