Police Uncovers Murder Case in Less Than 24 Hours in the Town of Al-Ram

SadaNews: Today, Wednesday 16/7/2025, the police revealed the circumstances of a murder that took place early Tuesday in the town of Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, where a 27-year-old young man was killed by direct gunfire from unknown assailants.

The police spokesman, Major Louay Arzeeqat, stated that the police operations room received a report about a shooting incident inside an apartment in the town. A force from the general investigation and forensic evidence department, supported by the Al-Ram police station, moved to the scene and found that the young man had succumbed to his injuries.

The general investigation department initiated search and inquiry procedures, and surveillance camera recordings were retrieved and analyzed, which helped in identifying the vehicle used in the crime. This vehicle was later found burned in an effort to conceal evidence.

Arzeeqat added that the follow-up and investigation efforts led to the arrest of two suspects, who stated during their interrogation that they committed the crime with others.

Arzeeqat confirmed the detention of the suspects for referral to the public prosecution.
