Haaretz: 70% of Gaza's Buildings Uninhabitable
SadaNews - The Haaretz newspaper reported, based on an analysis of satellite images and experts, that the extent of the destruction in the Gaza Strip is greater than previously believed, with at least 70% of the buildings in Gaza rendered uninhabitable.
It added that 89% of the buildings in Rafah and 84% of the buildings in the northern Gaza Strip have been destroyed.
Additionally, 78% of the buildings in Gaza City have been completely or partially destroyed.
It revealed that the destruction of buildings in Gaza is being carried out by Israeli contractors under military supervision.
It stated: "Israeli contractors charge about 5,000 shekels for each building they destroy."
It confirmed: "Israeli contractors are pressing to expand the areas of destruction."
