According to the Israeli army, as translated by SadaNews, its forces spotted a gunman approaching a military site, and after searching for him, they opened fire and killed him.
A reporter from Reshet Kan Hebrew Channel mentioned that the youth fired shots towards a force near the Maoz Zvi settlement close to the Dothan settlement near Yabed in Jenin, and he was neutralized, with no injuries reported among the forces.
It was noted that he was carrying a weapon as well as several knives before being neutralized.
Later, the Public Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Ministry of Health about the martyrdom of the young man, Youssef Walid Abdullah Sheikh Ibrahim (20 years old) from Kafr Ra'i, due to Israeli occupation fire near Jenin this evening, and the detention of his body.
