Renewed Settlement Attacks on Ain Samia Water Wells East of Ramallah
SadaNews - Settlers renewed their attacks early this Monday on the Ain Samia water wells, located east of the town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah.
The Jerusalem District Water Department reported that the settlers stormed the area of the wells, causing extensive damage to the equipment, which led to a disruption in communication and control over them.
Last Sunday, settlers also invaded the same area, vandalizing the surveillance cameras installed on the fences of the stations, in addition to destroying a gate of one of the stations and stealing it.
These wells are considered a vital and essential source for supplying dozens of villages and communities with water, amidst increasing settler attacks on them.
The Jerusalem District Water Department warned of the catastrophic consequences of these repeated assaults, which directly threaten the continuity of water supply to the communities.
