The Knesset Votes Today on the Removal of Deputy "Ayman Odeh"
SadaNews - The Knesset's plenum is holding a session this afternoon to vote on the removal of Arab Deputy Ayman Odeh from his parliamentary membership, based on the "Exclusion Law," following the approval of the special parliamentary committee on the proposal earlier.
This action comes after the so-called special parliamentary committee approved the proposal to be submitted to the plenum, following a post made by Deputy Odeh after the first stage of the exchange deal with Hamas, in which he expressed his happiness over the release of prisoners and hostages and called for "the liberation of both peoples from the yoke of occupation, for we were all born free."
This was deemed by members of the far-right in Israel as incitement that justifies his exclusion.
