Extension of journalist Nasser Laham's detention until next Tuesday
SadaNews - The military court of occupation in "Ofer" has extended the detention of journalist Nasser Laham until next Tuesday.
It is noted that the occupation detained journalist Laham on July 7th from his home.
It is worth mentioning that the occupation continues to escalate its campaign against journalists and target them in an unprecedented manner since the onset of the ongoing genocide, with the number of journalists who have been detained or held since the outbreak of the genocide reaching 193, of whom 50 still remain in detention today, including journalist Laham.
Most of them face "charges" related to what the occupation claims as "incitement" through social media and media outlets, while others are held administrative on the pretext of having a "secret file".
The occupation also classifies Gaza journalists as what is known as "unlawful combatants", two of whom are under enforced disappearance since the onset of the genocide.
