Foreign Ministry: Immediate cessation of the occupation's aggression is the correct approach to protect humanity in the Gaza Strip

SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the collective massacres committed by the occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip, including children, women, and the elderly. The latest attacks targeted citizens at a water gathering point in the new camp in Nusseirat in the center of the Strip, continuously leading to an increase in the number of civilian martyrs and the complete destruction of what remains of the Strip.

The Foreign Ministry warned in a statement issued today, Sunday, of the consequences of the occupation's actions to forcibly displace our people under the guise of what it labeled as a humanitarian city in Rafah, which has no connection to humanity, facing widespread criticism from the international community as well as Israeli circles, amid the occupation's ongoing intensification of the continued displacement and its use of starvation and thirst as weapons in its war against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry confirmed that an immediate cessation of the occupation's aggression is the correct and most humane path to protect Palestinian civilians, facilitate sustainable assistance in adequate quantities, and finalize the necessary arrangements to begin relief efforts for our suffering people and reconstruct the region.

The Ministry emphasized that enabling the State of Palestine and its legitimate institutions to exercise their political and legal jurisdiction over the Gaza Strip, as it is an integral part of the land of the State of Palestine, is the only gateway to protect our people and achieve justice for them. It is the shortest path to commence the implementation of the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice and to end the occupation and realize the Palestinian state on the ground within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
