It stated that the attack, which occurred on the morning of Monday, June 15, targeted a meeting of the Supreme National Security Council in Iran, attended by the heads of the three authorities and other senior officials, held in the lower floors of a building in western Tehran.

It continued: "This attack was designed in a manner similar to the assassination operation of martyr Hassan Nasrallah. Six bombs or missiles were used in this attack, targeting the entrances and exits of the building to cut off escape routes and stop the flow of air."

It added: "After the explosions, the power was cut off in the mentioned floor, but the officials present managed to exit the building using an emergency exit that had been prepared beforehand."

It confirmed: "Some officials suffered minor injuries to their feet while escaping, including President Bezhaskian."

The Iranian agency stated: "Given the accuracy of the intelligence information possessed by the enemy in this attack, an investigation is underway into the possibility of infiltrating agent elements."

It continued: "This incident shows that the enemy is using all possible means, including the assassination of senior officials, to undermine Iran's national security."
