Israel Presents Map for Military Deployment During Ceasefire
SadaNews - Israel presented a map for the deployment of its military forces during the proposed 60-day ceasefire agreement in Gaza during indirect negotiations with Hamas that have been ongoing for days in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Channel 13 reported that sources familiar with the negotiations stated that "there has been no progress in the last day."
The same sources pointed out that a solution regarding the map for the deployment of Israeli forces has not been reached "despite Israeli flexibility."

They added that "Hamas is demanding a withdrawal to the lines we were at in March."
Some sources mentioned a state of "stagnation" in the negotiations, which are set to resume on Saturday.
"The map occupies 40% of the area of the Gaza Strip and paves the way for implementing the displacement plan."
In the context of the Israeli military deployment map during the ceasefire in Gaza, sources told Al Jazeera that "the redeployment map presented by the Israeli delegation in the negotiations keeps the entire city of Rafah under occupation."
They added that "the map paves the way for implementing the displacement plan by making Rafah a concentration area for the displaced to push them to Egypt or across the sea, as it takes a deep area from the Gaza Strip along the border and in some areas reaches up to 3 kilometers."
The sources noted that "the redeployment map includes large parts of Beit Lahiya city, the village of Umm al-Nasr, most of Beit Hanoun, and all of Khuza'a, and comes close to Al-Sikka Street in the areas of Al-Tuffah, Al-Shuja'iyya, and Al-Zeitoun, reaching near Salah al-Din Street in Deir al-Balah and Al-Qarara."
They clarified that "the Israeli map occupies 40% of the area of the Gaza Strip and prevents 700,000 Palestinians from returning to their homes to push them into displacement gathering centers in Rafah."
