SadaNews - The Israeli army radio confirmed, citing a medical source, the death of an Israeli security guard in the attack at Gush Etzion in the southern West Bank, stating that he is a reserve soldier.
For its part, the Israeli occupation police reported gunfire at the Gush Etzion intersection, confirming that there were injuries of varying degrees.
It stated that its forces are conducting search operations for additional suspects, following reports of the martyrdom of two Palestinians.
Israeli army radio reported, according to the occupation police, that two Palestinians exited a car with Palestinian plates, attacked a security guard, and seized his weapon at the Gush Etzion intersection near Hebron in the West Bank.
The police added that armed Israelis and security forces present at the scene clashed with the attackers and killed them, as they described.
Later, it became clear that the perpetrators of the operation were residents of Halhul near Hebron and Bizzaria in Nablus, and they are officers in the Palestinian police.
Moreover, the General Authority for Civil Affairs mentioned that the perpetrators of the operation are Mahmoud Yusuf Muhammad Abed (23 years old) and Malik Ibrahim Abdul Jabbar Salem (23 years old).
