
Occupation continues its escalation in the West Bank.. Raids, searches, and arrests
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched extensive incursions in most areas of the West Bank at dawn and this morning, Thursday, which included raids on homes, searches, interrogations, and the arrest of several citizens.
Hebron
A woman was injured today, Thursday, in bruises during an assault by settlers in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. In addition, the Israeli occupation forces arrested five citizens during their raid on several areas in Hebron Governorate, south of the West Bank.
Activist Osama Makhamra told the official agency that a group of armed settlers attacked residents in the areas of al-Tubiyan and al-Fakhit, which led to a woman being injured.
Local and security sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed several areas of Hebron city, arresting Bashar Arafat Qawasmeh, Ahmad Auni Nassar, and Ins Osama Al-Tawil, following raids on their homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents.
From the town of Al-Dhahiriya in the south, those forces arrested Muslih Ahmad Abu Alan and Bassam Oda, and distributed threatening leaflets to some homes after raiding them.
Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the village of Beitillu, northwest of Ramallah today.
Security sources stated that the occupation forces arrested young man Aiham Muhammad Suleiman Rayan (20 years old) after raiding his family’s home and tampering with its contents.
Bethlehem
Israeli occupation forces arrested two citizens from Bethlehem today, Thursday.
A security source reported that the occupation forces stormed the Hindaza area east of Bethlehem and arrested both Tarek Mousa Hussein Abayat (39 years old) and Shadi Jamal Mousa Abayat (31 years old).
The occupation forces also stormed the Beit Falouh area in the east and raided the homes of Khalil Hussein Nabhans and Tarek Mousa Abu Farihah, without any reported arrests.
Tulkarem
Israeli occupation forces stormed the Shweika suburb north of Tulkarem city at dawn today, Thursday.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided several citizens’ homes, searched them, destroyed their contents, and mistreated their owners, subjecting them to questioning.
The sources added that the occupation forces brutally assaulted citizen Amjad Abu Zahra inside his home in the suburb, resulting in injuries that required him to be taken to the hospital. They also stole a sum of money estimated at 25,000 shekels from inside the house, causing extensive damage to its contents.
In the same context, occupation forces raided the home of released prisoner Emad Abed in the same area, tampered with its contents, and damaged parts of its furniture, amidst a state of panic and terror among his family members. They also raided the home of released prisoner Muhammad Nayfah, searched it thoroughly, and vandalized its contents, as occupation soldiers raided the home of the Jabali family in the Al-Dhahiriya area amid an atmosphere of tension and extreme anxiety among citizens.
This escalation comes as part of the ongoing occupation policy against Tulkarem Governorate, which has witnessed systematic assaults and continuous escalation targeting the city and its camps, neighborhoods, and towns without interruption for the past 165 days.
Tubas
Israeli occupation forces arrested three released prisoners from Tubas today, Thursday, including a girl, during their incursion into the city.
The director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamel Bani Ouda, reported that the occupation arrested former prisoner Yahya Shrideh, former prisoner Bakar Azem Draghmeh, and released prisoner Sajaa Imad Draghmeh after raiding their homes in the city.
The occupation forces had stormed the city last night with several patrols and raided several homes.
Qalandiya
Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 20 young men from Qalandiya camp, north of Jerusalem, at dawn today, Thursday.
Local sources reported that a large force of the occupation army stormed the camp, including extensive raids on numerous homes, gunfire, and the use of sound grenades and tear gas.
The sources indicated that the occupation destroyed the contents of many homes they raided, as Israeli soldiers occupied the rooftops of several residential buildings.
Qalqilya
Israeli occupation forces arrested five young men from the city of Qalqilya today, Thursday.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces arrested Abdullah Dawood, Wahib Maskawi, Aysar Shreim, Ayham Qadeh, and Khalil Maraaba after raiding their homes and searching them.
The occupation forces raided the city from its main eastern entrance, spreading through several neighborhoods including Suufeen, Kafr Saba, and the Nakar neighborhood, withdrawing after three hours of incursion.
Nablus
Israeli occupation forces arrested four citizens from the villages of Duma south of Nablus and the village of Barqa northwest of Nablus at dawn today, Thursday.
Security sources reported that occupation vehicles stormed the village of Barqa northwest of Nablus, along with Duma and Asira al-Qibliya in the south, raiding and searching several homes, and arrested four citizens: the brothers Dajana, Rayan Ahmad Dweibesha, Ra’iq Ramzi Ra’iq Dweibesha from Duma, and Muhammad Awais Daghlas from Barqa.
In the same context, occupation forces stormed the eastern area of the city and raided the Khillat al-Amoud cemetery, searching it.
Jenin
Israeli occupation forces stormed the al-Hadaf neighborhood in Jenin city at dawn today, Thursday, and raided homes.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces stormed the neighborhood with a large number of foot patrols, raiding residents' homes, searching them, and destroying their belongings while drones flew over the area.
They also detained a large number of young men and interrogated them, amidst the sound of live gunfire.
Moreover, Israeli occupation bulldozers continued to demolish homes in Jenin camp yesterday, Wednesday, as part of a plan to demolish more than 100 homes reported by the occupation in early June.
The aggression on the city and camp of Jenin enters its 170th day, resulting in 41 martyrs, dozens of detainees, and nearly 22,000 displaced persons from within the camp and its surroundings.
