Police Foils Kidnapping Attempt of a Citizen in Bethlehem
SadaNews - The Palestinian police foiled an attempt to kidnap a citizen last night and arrested two suspects in the Bethlehem Governorate.
The police stated that while a number of plainclothes police officers were off duty on Al-Quds-Hebron Street in the center of Bethlehem, they observed two individuals forcefully attempting to pull a young man into a vehicle with Israeli license plates. The officers immediately got out of their vehicle and freed the citizen from their hands, notifying the police operations room, which dispatched support and emergency forces to the location and apprehended the suspects.
It was confirmed that the two suspects have been detained in preparation for their referral to the public prosecution.
