
The Security Institution Mourns Major Ammar Abu Zahri from the Preventive Security Forces
SadaNews - The Palestinian security and military institution mourned its members and the citizens of our people, Major Ammar Said Abu Zahri from the Preventive Security apparatus, who passed away last night, Tuesday, while receiving treatment in the hospital due to suffering from multiple illnesses.
The official spokesperson for the Palestinian security forces, Major General Anwar Rajab, stated in a press release today, Wednesday, that in adherence to the principles of professionalism and transparency, and stemming from its moral responsibility, the security institution is closely and responsibly monitoring the circumstances surrounding Abu Zahri's death. He was in custody of the military prosecution regarding an ongoing case, and was released due to his health condition.
He added that during the period of detention, he was referred multiple times to specialized hospitals as part of the thorough monitoring of his condition by his parent institution, which spared no effort in treating him and keeping track of the developments in his condition at every moment, doing everything necessary for his treatment.
