
11 Martyrs, Including 6 Freed Prisoners, Killed by Israeli Fire and Shelling in Khan Younis and Rafah
SadaNews: 11 citizens were martyred, and others were injured, a short while ago, by Israeli fire and airstrikes in Khan Younis and Rafah, in southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported the martyrdom of nine citizens, including six freed prisoners, and injuries to several others, in an airstrike by an Israeli drone targeting the tents of displaced persons in the Sanabel camp west of the Kuwaiti hospital in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.
The same sources added that the six martyrs, who are freed prisoners deported to the Gaza Strip, are: Amjad Abu Arqoub from Hebron, Mahmoud Abu Sariya from Jenin, Najy Abiyat from Bethlehem, Bilal Zar'ae from Ramallah, Riyad Asaliya from Jerusalem, and Mahmoud Al-Dahbour from Nablus.
It was noted that two martyrs fell and more than 35 were wounded by Israeli forces in the Shakush area northwest of Rafah.
This raises the toll of martyrs since the dawn of today in various parts of the Gaza Strip to 24.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been waging a campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 194,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, over 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced and famine has claimed the lives of many, including children.
