After the Beit Hanoun Operation.. Abu Ubaida Threatens the Occupation Army with More Losses in Gaza
SadaNews - Abu Ubaida, the spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, has threatened the Israeli occupation army with inflicting daily losses in Gaza, following the compound ambush by the resistance in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of 5 Israeli soldiers and the injury of 14 others.
In a statement he issued, Abu Ubaida confirmed that the "war of attrition" being waged by the resistance will incur daily losses on the Israeli army, noting that the recent operation was a "blow to the prestige of the occupation army."
He added that the temporary success in withdrawing soldiers from the battlefield "will not happen all the time," hinting at the possibility of other soldiers falling into the hands of the resistance in the future if the Israeli military operation inside the Strip continues.
Abu Ubaida also held the Israeli leadership responsible for the escalation, considering that "the most foolish decision Netanyahu could make is to keep his forces inside Gaza," while at the same time praising the resilience of the people of the Strip and the bravery of the fighters who "are shaping the features of the coming stage."
