A Martyr and Two Injured by Occupation Fire in Salem, East Nablus
SadaNews – A citizen was martyred, and two others were injured, one of whom was arrested, today, Sunday, during the Israeli occupation forces' incursion into the town of Salem, east of Nablus, and surrounding two houses in the eastern part of the town.
The head of the Salem village council, Adli Ishtiyeh, stated that the occupation forces stormed the town and surrounded two houses in its eastern part, amid the sound of gunfire, coinciding with the arrival of additional military reinforcements.
He added that clashes broke out between the citizens and the occupation forces, during which the latter fired live ammunition intensively towards the citizens and their homes.
The Red Crescent Society reported that its teams received the body of the martyr from inside one of the besieged houses in the town, and his identity is still unknown.
A "Wafa" correspondent noted that two citizens were injured by live ammunition, one of whom is 62 years old and was transported by Red Crescent ambulance, while the occupation forces arrested the other citizen after shooting him.
