Foreign Ministry: Incitatory Calls for Annexation and Dismantling of Authority Are Deliberate Sabotage of Efforts to Achieve Calm and Resolve Conflict
SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned on Friday the flood of racist incitatory statements issued successively by ministers in the Israeli government regarding the annexation of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, or large parts of it, on one hand, and calls for dismantling the Palestinian National Authority and its institutions, on the other hand.
The ministry stated in a statement that this represents the other face of the crimes of genocide and displacement against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, noting that the crimes of annexation, stealing Palestinian land, emptying it of its owners, and attempts to strangle their lives and existence, deepening settlement activities, judaizing Jerusalem and its holy sites, pirating the funds of the Palestinian people, and the coup against signed agreements are ongoing at an accelerated pace on the ground and on a daily basis.
In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs circulated to the embassies and missions of the State of Palestine the necessity of urgent action with decision-making centers in other countries and the United Nations to expose these positions and the Israeli policy being implemented, especially in areas classified as "C" and against Bedouin communities, demanding them to assume their legal and moral responsibilities to curb the excesses of the occupation authorities and their settlers from any law, and the dangers posed by this to the efforts made to achieve calm and resolve the conflict through political means.
