SadaNews - Hamas stated early Friday that it is still conducting consultations with leaders of Palestinian forces and factions regarding the proposal it received from mediators.
It indicated that this comes as part of its commitment to ending the war and ensuring the free entry of aid.
It said: We will submit the final decision to the mediators after the consultations are concluded, and we will announce it officially.
For his part, U.S. President Donald Trump expects Hamas to respond to the current proposal within the next 24 hours.
He said: Hamas must agree to it.
Trump affirmed his commitment to working towards ending the war in Gaza and securing the release of kidnapped Israelis.
According to some sources, Hamas has agreed to the proposal and is conducting some communications with the factions, indicating that the response is expected to be submitted to the mediators today, Friday.
