Jawwal Sponsors the International Al-Quds Championship 2025... to Enhance the Presence of Palestinian Youth in Sports
SadaNews - The eleventh edition of the International Al-Quds Football Championship has kicked off at the Al-Quds International Stadium, under the patronage of the Palestinian telecommunications company - Jawwal, and organized by the Capital Sports Club.
Majdi Nassar, the honorary president of the Capital Sports Club, expressed his pride in organizing this event that "brings together the best Palestinian teams, supports young athletes, and enhances national belonging." Nassar added that "the partnership with Jawwal represents a real support for Palestinian sports and contributes to the continuity of this event, which has become a distinctive mark in the agenda of annual championships."
The championship features 12 Palestinian teams, which have been divided into balanced groups to ensure fair competition and high technical levels that reflect the status of the championship, which has become one of the most prominent annual sports events.
Firas Abu Hilal, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Football Association, pointed out that "the International Al-Quds Championship represents an important opportunity to develop Palestinian football," emphasizing that "the competition among the participating teams reflects the technical and skill development of the players and allows for the discovery of new talents that could support national teams in the future."
