Negev: A 10-Year-Old Child Injured in a Shooting Incident in Tel Sheva
SadaNews - A 10-year-old child was injured in a shooting incident that took place in Tel Sheva in the Negev on Monday evening.
A medical team reported that the child suffered moderate injuries in the shooting in the Negev.
They added that the child was transported to a meeting point with medical teams on Highway 60, near the Tel Sheva intersection.
The team provided him with medical treatment, and he was then transferred to "Soroka" Hospital to receive treatment for penetrating wounds that burned his body.
The police have begun investigating the circumstances of the crime, the background of which is still unknown, without reporting any arrests of suspects; meanwhile, there continues to be negligence in providing security and safety for Arab citizens amid rampant crime and the absence of any deterrence.
This comes as the community in the country witnesses an increase in murders and incidents of violence since the beginning of the year, including stabbings and shootings in several towns, which have left 147 dead.
Criticism continues to be directed at the Israeli police and government over what is described as their inability to curb the activities of criminal organizations, their failure to investigate many murder cases, and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
