Supporters of Maduro Burn American and Israeli Flags in Central Caracas
SadaNews - About a hundred supporters of Nicolas Maduro burned American and Israeli flags on Friday night - Saturday, in Simón Bolívar Square in downtown Caracas, chanting anti-American slogans directed at the United States which has detained the former president and maintains a significant presence in Venezuela, according to a photographer from the Agence France-Presse.
The protesters also stepped on images of U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while chanting "Americans, go back to your homes" and "It's not aid, it's occupation," referring to the assistance that Washington is providing to Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes that occurred on June 24.
