Oil Prices Rise as Brent Hits $85.28 a Barrel
SadaNews Economy - Oil prices increased today, Friday, with Brent crude futures rising by $1.05 or 1.25% to reach $85.28 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude contracts rose by about $1.03 or 1.3% to $79.98 a barrel.
Both benchmark crudes have gained nearly 12% over the week, heading towards consecutive weekly increases, with Brent nearing its third weekly gain in a row, and U.S. crude approaching its second weekly gain.
