Iran: U.S. Bombing Resulted in 38 Deaths and More Than 400 Injured Since June 22

SadaNews - The U.S. strikes on Iran have resulted in the death of 38 people and injuries to more than 400 others since June 22, according to the Iranian Ministry of Health.

The ministry's spokesperson, Hossein Karampour, stated in a post on "X" that the toll from the U.S. attacks reached 38 martyrs and over 400 injured as of 6:30 AM local time (03:00 GMT), pointing out that three women and a minor were among the dead, as reported by the Agence France-Presse.

The United States expanded its airstrike campaign against Iran early Friday morning by increasing bombings of bridges, which is part of President Donald Trump's threats to start targeting infrastructure to pressure Tehran to ease its control over the Strait of Hormuz.

In response, Iran launched new missile attacks against neighboring countries in the region and warned that its attacks would escalate. Iranian missiles and drones targeted Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.

In a speech directed to the American public, Trump insisted that the war is going well, stating: "We are winning significantly in Iran as well, and you will see the fruits of this effort very, very soon."
