Gaza Government Work Committee Announces Its Dissolution and Transfer of Tasks to the Gaza Management Committee

SadaNews: The Government Work Follow-up Committee affiliated with Hamas in the Gaza Strip announced its dissolution and the transfer of administrative tasks to the Gaza Management Committee.

The government media office in Gaza stated during a press conference held today that the head of the emergency committee submitted his resignation to transfer the governance of the sector to the National Committee for Gaza Management.

He added: "There will be employees at the technical and professional levels to ensure the continued provision of services to the citizens."

He also pointed out that the current heads of governmental institutions will be regarded as a temporary body.

He stated: "All employees currently working will operate under the responsibility of the National Committee for Gaza Management."

The office called on all relevant parties to expedite the entry of the National Committee for Gaza Management and to carry out its functions.
