Al Baraka Company for Islamic Insurance Opens New Branch in Tulkarm City

SadaNews - Al Baraka Company for Islamic Insurance has opened its new branch in Tulkarm Governorate, in a new step within its strategy aimed at enhancing its geographic presence and expanding its network of branches and offices across various Palestinian governorates, contributing to bringing its services closer to citizens and institutions, and solidifying its position as one of the leading national companies in the Islamic insurance sector.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the honorable governor of Tulkarm Governorate, Abdullah Kmeil, the deputy mayor of Tulkarm, Nazem al-Safarini, the chairman of the board of directors of Al Baraka Company for Islamic Insurance, engineer Awad Allah Ibrahim Awad, the general manager Abdul Hakim Qassem, the deputy general manager Samer Othman, board members Ahmad Awad and Ibrahim Abdo, as well as several executive management members of the company, alongside representatives of official and civil institutions, businessmen, economic and social figures, and media representatives.

The ceremony began with the cutting of the opening ribbon, marking the official opening of the branch, followed by a tour of its facilities, where attendees were introduced to the insurance services offered, which include a comprehensive package of Islamic insurance services for individuals, companies, and institutions, in addition to the modern digital solutions provided by the company, led by the "Al Baraka Mobile" application, which allows clients to access their insurance services easily, quickly, and securely.

In his speech during the ceremony, the general manager of Al Baraka Company for Islamic Insurance, Mr. Abdul Hakim Qassem, emphasized that the opening of the Tulkarm branch represents a new station in the company’s journey towards expansion and growth, and is in line with its vision aimed at providing advanced Islamic insurance services that meet the needs of customers in various Palestinian governorates.

Qassem added that Al Baraka Company continues to implement its strategic plan based on thoughtful expansion, enhancing service quality, and investing in technology and digital transformation, ensuring a comprehensive insurance experience that meets customer aspirations, noting that the company has managed, in a short period, to solidify its position in the Palestinian market through its commitment to professionalism and innovation, and providing insurance solutions compliant with the provisions of Islamic law.

He pointed out that the company places great importance on developing its digital services, foremost among which is the "Al Baraka Mobile" application, which is one of the major digital transformation projects, enabling customers to benefit from many insurance services electronically, thereby enhancing speed of processing and improving the quality of provided services.

He added that Al Baraka’s efforts are not limited to developing insurance services, but it has also contributed to implementing many national initiatives, led by the Palestinian agricultural insurance systems and services project, which represents a pioneering experience in supporting Palestinian farmers and enhancing the sustainability of the agricultural sector in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, the European Union, Oxfam, and the Palestinian Center for Economic and Social Development.

For his part, Governor of Tulkarm, Abdullah Kmeil, congratulated Al Baraka Company for Islamic Insurance on the opening of its new branch, affirming that the opening of this branch represents an important addition to the financial and insurance sector in the governorate, contributing to providing quality services to citizens and the private sector, and reflecting the confidence of national institutions in the investment environment in Tulkarm Governorate.

Kmeil highlighted the vital role that insurance companies play in supporting economic activity, protecting investments, and enhancing financial stability, commending the efforts made by Al Baraka in developing its services and expanding its reach, wishing it further success and advancement.

Similarly, the deputy mayor of Tulkarm, Nazem al-Safarini, affirmed that the opening of Al Baraka Company for Islamic Insurance in the city represents an added value to Tulkarm Governorate, due to providing specialized insurance services that meet the needs of citizens and institutions in the public and private sectors, indicating that the presence of leading national institutions in the governorate contributes to enhancing economic movement and creating a more supportive environment for investment and development.

Al-Safarini added that the Tulkarm Municipality looks forward to strengthening cooperation with various national institutions, achieving sustainable development, and serving the people of the governorate, expressing his wishes for Al Baraka to achieve more success and excellence in its journey.
