West Bank: Raids, Arrests, Attacks by Settlers, and Arson of Properties
SadaNews - Various areas in the occupied West Bank witnessed extensive military escalation early Sunday morning, characterized by incursions carried out by Israeli occupation forces into several cities and towns, accompanied by raids and arrests, alongside assaults launched by settlers targeting Palestinians, their homes, vehicles, and properties.
In Nablus Governorate, occupation forces arrested a tractor driver and confiscated his tractor while he was working on waste collection around the town of Beita, south of the city.
A vehicle driven by settlers collided with a Palestinian car in the Qamaas area near the town, causing extensive damage before the settlers assaulted its passengers.
Occupation forces raided the villages of Urif, Burqa, Eastern Luban, and the town of Douma, in addition to the eastern area of Nablus city via the Awarta checkpoint and the old Askar camp, where they carried out raids and searches of several homes.
Simultaneously, settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones near the entrance of the "Homesh" settlement, assaulted a home and vehicle on the outskirts of the Eastern Luban village, and set fire to a cafeteria during the incursion of occupation forces into the village.
In Hebron Governorate, clashes erupted between Palestinian youth and occupation forces in the town of Sa'ir, which also witnessed the raiding of homes belonging to the Jaradat family and mistreatment of its residents, causing fear among the children. Occupation forces also stormed a house in the town of Halhul and the Jabal Jawhar area south of Hebron city.
In the southern part of the governorate, groups of settlers attacked a house in the Zatout area northeast of Yatta, smashed a vehicle, and vandalized properties.
In Tulkarm Governorate, occupation forces stormed the town of Anabta east of the city and fired sound bombs during the incursion, as well as raided several homes in the village of Shufa south of the governorate.
In Jenin, occupation forces raided several homes in the al-Jabriyat neighborhood adjacent to Jenin camp, while in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, they stormed the town of Turmus Ayya and the village of Deir Jarir east of the city, coinciding with settlers setting fire to lands belonging to Palestinian citizens in Turmus Ayya.
The incursions extended to other areas, where occupation forces raided a villa in the Jericho Gateway area and stormed several homes in the Doha area of Bethlehem city, as part of a continuous military campaign taking place in the cities and towns of the West Bank.
