6 Injuries in Settler Attack on Yatta South of Hebron
SadaNews - Six citizens were injured today, Monday, with wounds and bruises following an attack carried out by settlers on citizens' homes and lands in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra reported to the official agency that about 30 armed settlers, under the protection of occupation soldiers, attacked the homes of citizens in the village of Umm al-Khair in the Masafar Yatta area after closing the main gate of the village.
He added that the attackers assaulted the residents, which led to the injury of six citizens, who received field treatment.
Makhamra pointed out that among the targeted homes was that of citizen Salem Al-Hazalin, whose surrounding area was declared a closed military zone by the occupation forces for two days, preventing his family members from accessing health facilities and the livestock pen, resulting in the livestock being left without food.
He also mentioned that settlers cut the fence of the land and the electric wires belonging to the home of citizen Ayoub Al-Masri in the Khelat Al-Homs area south of Yatta.
