Video: Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Settlers set fire today, Friday, to agricultural lands in the village of Burqa east of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that dozens of fruitful trees were burned as a result of the fire set by the settlers, especially olive and almond trees.

Clashes broke out between young men and the settlers following the invasion of the town.

Others attacked citizens' vehicles northwest of Ramallah.

Local sources indicated that settlers attacked citizens' vehicles on the road connecting the villages of Aboud and Deir Abu Mishal northwest of Ramallah, attempting to block the road and assault the citizens.

Meanwhile, other settlers attacked citizens' homes in the village of Al-Muniya southeast of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that settlers attacked citizens' homes, stoning them, and destroyed the power line supplying the village, causing panic and fear among the residents.

It is noteworthy that settlers have escalated their attacks recently against the residents of Al-Muniya, which involved attacking homes and assaulting citizens, as well as attempts to run over them.

Settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, invaded the area of Solomon's Pools located between the town of Al-Khadr and the village of Artas south of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that about 50 settlers gathered along the three pools, swimming in them and performing Talmudic rituals, while the occupation forces closed the main road and impeded traffic.

It is noted that the occupation forces and settlers have intensified their violations in the Solomon's Pools area, assaulting citizens, firing toxic gas and sound bombs, and sealing off the area.

Early this morning, Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by settlers, stormed the Al-Raas Mosque in the Jabri neighborhood of the old town of Hebron, closing it to worshippers after assaulting those inside and preventing the Fajr prayer.

Local sources reported that occupation forces and settlers invaded the mosque, raised Israeli flags at its doors, played Hebrew songs through the mosque's loudspeakers, and forced citizens Tawfiq Al-Jabri and Nasser Fahd Al-Jabri, who were stationed inside the mosque, to leave it, preventing the Fajr prayer before closing it to worshippers; it remains closed to this day.

The sources added that settlers had seized land belonging to the mosque approximately six months ago, adjacent to it, and established a playground on it.

In this context, the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs condemned the invasion of settlers into the Al-Raas Mosque, the raising of Israeli flags on its walls and roofs, and the loud Hebrew songs played inside its courtyards, in addition to preventing worshippers from accessing it.

Meanwhile, settlers leveled lands in the town of Mukhmas north of occupied Jerusalem this morning.

The Governorate of Jerusalem reported that settlers began leveling land in the "al-Hay" area in the town of Mukhmas, preparing to establish a new settlement outpost in the area. This is part of a continuous escalation targeting colonial expansion in the region.

This move comes in conjunction with repeated assaults carried out by settlers against Palestinian citizens on the outskirts of the town, in an attempt to displace them and seize their lands to establish more colonial projects and impose new realities on the ground.
