Hebrew Channel: The US Embassy Will Provide Services to Settlers as Part of Its Activities in Gush Etzion

SadaNews Translation - Hebrew Channel 14 revealed on Thursday evening that the US Embassy will provide consular services for American citizens residing in West Bank settlements.

According to the channel, as translated by SadaNews, for the first time in many years, the US Embassy will organize an event outside its doors and beyond the Green Line, with efforts from settlement leaders in the southern West Bank.

It stated that a team from the embassy will provide services to thousands of American citizens located in West Bank settlements, through an event to be held at the end of this month in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, specifically in the Efrat settlement.

It noted that this event will be organized concurrently with the 250th anniversary celebrations of the founding of the United States of America.

Residents of Gush Etzion settlements consider this step to legitimize settlement and the presence of settlements in the West Bank.

Meanwhile, settlement leaders view this as a significant political achievement that confirms that settlements will remain and are an integral part of "the State of Israel," according to their statement.
