Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa and perform Talmudic rituals
SadaNews - Settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Wednesday, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of settlers invaded the mosque's courtyards and performed provocative Talmudic rituals such as the "epic prostration" near the Gate of Mercy and the Dome of the Rock.
It added that groups affiliated with what is known as the "Temple" circulated incitement calls to rally settlers for the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and to raise the occupation flag in its courtyards.
This coincided with the continued intensification of the occupation police, erecting barriers, closing roads in the city of Jerusalem, and restricting the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque by detaining identities and conducting searches.
Since the beginning of this April, the frequency of invasions has increased, with settlers performing public rituals and "collective prostration" inside the courtyards.
Israeli extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir also stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on April 12, performing Talmudic rituals accompanied by settlers, marking his third incursion since the beginning of the year and the sixteenth since he assumed office.
