Occupation Continues to Close Al-Aqsa Mosque for the 19th Day
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation authorities continue to close the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing it for the nineteenth consecutive day, under the pretext of security conditions related to the American-Israeli war on Iran.
The occupation authorities have intensified their repressive measures against worshippers and those holding vigil, as the occupation police tightened their restrictions, preventing access even to the area of the Rashidiya School, coinciding with the continuation of prayers by those holding vigil at the gates for the ninth night in rejection of the closure.
Yesterday evening, the occupation forces prevented citizens from performing Tarawih prayers in several neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem, deploying around the Damascus Gate and the Sahira Gate, preventing worshippers from performing the prayers and forcing them to leave the area in an attempt to disperse them and prevent any gatherings for prayer.
