Israel Intensifies Airstrikes in Lebanon as Hezbollah Continues to Bomb Northern Settlements
SadaNews: The Israeli army continued on Friday to carry out extensive attacks in various regions of Lebanon.
The Israeli army announced that it destroyed the Zarariyeh bridge on the Litani River this morning, which was used as a main passage for militants from Hezbollah.
It also reported that it assassinated a Hezbollah activist at dawn today in Burj Hammoud, in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Meanwhile, Lebanese sources reported the martyrdom of several Lebanese, including a leader from the Islamic Group who was targeted in Bar Elias, as well as casualties from a series of other Israeli attacks.
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of attacks in other areas of Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The number of Lebanese casualties has risen to about 700 since the beginning of the events.
In this context, Hezbollah continued to strike Israeli northern settlements.
Hezbollah launched several rockets since last night and attacked Israeli ground forces that had penetrated inside Lebanese borders.
