Israel Continues Airstrikes in Lebanon and Attempts to Recover the Body of Ron Arad

SadaNews - The Israeli army continued, on Saturday, to carry out extensive attacks in various regions of Lebanon.

These airstrikes targeted the southern suburbs and other areas in southern and eastern Lebanon.

The Israeli army destroyed several buildings in the southern suburb of Beirut after evacuating about half a million people from the area.

An Israeli force conducted a landing operation in Nabi Sheet in the Beqaa region of eastern Lebanon and engaged in fierce clashes with Hezbollah fighters that lasted for hours amid intense fire zones.

According to Hebrew media reports, the aim of the assault was to recover the body of Israeli pilot Ron Arad, who went missing in 1986.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 12 people were martyred and 33 injured in the same attack.

In this context, Hezbollah continued to launch strikes on Israeli settlements in the northern regions.

Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets since last night and attacked Israeli ground forces that had penetrated into Lebanese territory.
