Martyr and Injuries in Israeli Shelling and Gunfire in Gaza Strip

SadaNews - A young man was martyred, and several citizens were injured early this Wednesday, in the shelling and gunfire of Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with airstrikes and the demolition of residential buildings.

Medical sources reported the martyrdom of the young man Akram Hassan Al-Arjani (27 years old), as a result of shelling targeting the "Lemon Land" area south of Khan Younis, where he was transferred to Nasser Medical Hospital.

A citizen was also injured by a bullet from a "quadcopter" drone near Abu Hussein School in the northern sector, while a girl was injured by the occupation's fire in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area south of Khan Younis.

The occupation's aircraft launched airstrikes east of Gaza City and east of the "Yellow Line" east of Khan Younis, coinciding with heavy low-altitude military aircraft flights, while occupation forces demolished residential buildings east of Khan Younis and shelled areas east of Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City and east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central sector.

Occupation military vehicles also opened fire repeatedly east of Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, with no injuries reported in that area so far.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the occupation forces have killed 615 citizens and injured 1,658 others.

The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,073 martyrs and 171,756 injured since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.
