China Opposes Annexation and Settlement Expansion in the West Bank

SadaNews - China announced today, Thursday, its opposition to all attempts to annex Palestinian territories, following days after the Israeli security cabinet approved measures to tighten control over the occupied West Bank.

According to the Chinese news agency, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian stated at a press conference, "China has always opposed the construction of new settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and has opposed all attempts at annexation or encroachment on Palestinian lands."
