Israel Decides to Deport Palestinians from Jerusalem and Inside to Gaza Strip
SadaNews Translation - Channel 12 reported on Tuesday night that Israel has officially decided to deport two Palestinians holding Israeli blue IDs, after they were convicted of a series of attacks.
According to the Hebrew channel, as translated by SadaNews, they will be deported to the Gaza Strip, following the approval of security officials and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mohammed Ahmad, who was convicted of a series of shooting attacks and spent 23 years in prison, will be deported immediately after being released in 2024.
Also, Mohammad Ahmad Al-Husseini, who was convicted of stabbing two Israelis in an attack in Jerusalem and was sentenced to 18 years in prison, will be deported upon his release from jail.
The report pointed out that this is the first implementation of a law that was passed in the Knesset three years ago, aimed at deporting any Palestinian holding Israeli citizenship who receives financial rewards from the Palestinian Authority.
