Israel abducts a leader of the Islamic Group in Lebanon

SadaNews - The Islamic Group in Lebanon stated that an Israeli force infiltrated past midnight into the town of al-Habbariyeh in the Arqoub region of southern Lebanon, where they abducted the group's leader, Atwi Atwi.

The group added, "We hold the Israeli occupation forces responsible for any harm that may befall the captive, the group's official in the Hasbaya and Marjayoun region, Atwi Atwi."

It said, "We call on the Lebanese state to pressure the sponsoring parties to stop the hostile actions in order to work for the release of the captive Atwi Atwi and all prisoners, and to halt all Israeli violations of Lebanese lands and sovereignty."
