A Martyr and 8 Injured in Two Israeli Airstrikes and Evacuation Warning for Buildings in Preparation for Attacking Two Towns

SadaNews - One person was martyred and 8 others were injured in two Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Ansariya and Al-Qalila in southern Lebanon, while the Israeli army announced the targeting of a Hezbollah member.

The Lebanese agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a "Jeep Cherokee" vehicle at the intersection of the town of Al-Qalila south of Tyre. It had previously reported that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle near the "Venice" University on the Zahle - Tyre road.

The Israeli army issued evacuation orders for buildings in the towns of Kafr Tabbnit and Ain Qana in southern Lebanon in preparation for attacking them under the pretext of the presence of military infrastructure for Hezbollah in those towns.

A force from the Israeli army detonated a house in the town of Adaisseh early today, before infiltrating into the town of Aita al-Chaab in southern Lebanon, where another demolition operation was carried out, causing extensive damage in the area.

They also threw sound bombs at the Al-Maslaih neighborhood in Aita al-Chaab and fired bursts of gunfire towards the outskirts of the town of Yaroun, as part of a series of security and military operations along the southern border.

Heavy explosions were heard in the vicinity of the Bint Jbeil area and the towns of Markaba and Adaisseh, while the extent of damage and precise details of the operations are being verified, with initial information indicating that the demolition operation in Aita al-Chaab was significant, resulting in widespread destruction of the targeted house.

This operation marks the second time that Israeli forces have dropped a sound bomb over Aita al-Chaab, while rescue and safety teams continue to follow the rubble and the aftermath of the explosions.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday the martyrdom of a citizen and the injury of three others due to an Israeli raid targeting the town of Abba in southern Lebanon.

Violations by the Israeli occupation and its targeting of areas in southern Lebanon continue through air raids, ground incursions, and intense drone flights, despite the signing of a ceasefire agreement in the south in November 2024, which increases tension and threatens stability in the region.
