Kallas: We Expect the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to be Classified as a 'Terrorist Organization'

SadaNews - Kaya Kallas, the EU's foreign policy chief, said today, Thursday, ahead of a meeting of foreign ministers, that the EU is likely to list the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization.

She stated, "We will impose new sanctions on Iran, and I also expect us to include the Islamic Revolutionary Guard on the list of terrorist organizations."

She added, "We expect to impose additional sanctions on those committing acts of violence against protesters in Iran."

She continued, "I also anticipate that diplomatic channels with Iran will remain open."
