For the second consecutive day: A complete strike and a protest in Sakhnin against violence and crime
SadaNews - A general and comprehensive strike took place today, Wednesday, in the city of Sakhnin for the second consecutive day, in response to a decision by the Sakhnin municipality, the popular committee, and the general committee of parents, protesting the spread of violence and the rise in gun crimes, and demanding that the police and Israeli authorities fulfill their responsibilities in providing security and safety for the residents.
The strike affected various facilities, in a step aimed at highlighting the seriousness of the conditions the city is facing amid the ongoing incidents of violence and crime.
In this context, a women's protest was organized today in Sakhnin, following the serious violent events that the city has recently witnessed. Dozens of women participated in the protest, raising slogans denouncing the spread of crime and violence, and calling for the protection of the community and the assurance of citizens' security.
The participants emphasized their rejection of the ongoing state of chaos, stressing that the protest was a cry of anger and a clear message calling for serious and immediate action to stop the cycle of violence that threatens the lives of the residents and the future of the city.
