Israel is considering imposing sanctions on Hamas after parts of a previously buried prisoner’s body were returned
SadaNews - Hebrew media outlets revealed developments regarding the body that was transferred from the Gaza Strip to Israel last night, with Channel 12 reporting that what was handed over consisted of parts of the body of an Israeli prisoner that had previously been received by Israel and buried.
In the same context, the Israeli Army Radio confirmed that Hamas returned last night the remains of an Israeli prisoner whose body had previously been returned and buried inside Israel.
Channel 12 quoted an Israeli source saying that "the fact that Hamas did not fully deliver the remains of Israelis is an intolerable matter," indicating that Israel is in the process of taking steps to respond to this action.
The source added that the Israeli political level is holding an emergency meeting today to discuss response methods, amid expectations of imposing sanctions on Hamas in coordination with the American administration.
