WHO: Rebuilding Gaza's health system requires at least $7 billion
SadaNews - The World Health Organization confirmed on Thursday the need for at least seven billion dollars to rebuild the health system in Gaza.
According to the "French Press Agency," the organization's director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters, "There are no hospitals fully operational in Gaza; only 14 out of 36 are still functioning. There is a severe shortage of medicines, equipment, and essential healthcare staff."
He warned that "the total cost of rebuilding the health system in Gaza is no less than seven billion dollars."
