Netanyahu Talks to Trump About Gaza, the Latter Supports the Former's Steps Against Hamas

Translation by SadaNews - Right-wing Israeli media reported this evening, Thursday, that a phone conversation took place between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to the Hebrew news site Yisrael Hayom, the two discussed the pace of returning the bodies of Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip.

According to the newspaper, as translated by SadaNews, Netanyahu informed Trump of the steps he intends to take in response to Hamas's delay.

 

It indicated that Trump expressed his support for Israel's actions.

Earlier this evening, Netanyahu held a special session to discuss the issue of Hamas's refusal to release more bodies.

Hamas claims that it has handed over what it could of the bodies and that it needs substantial resources to search for the remaining bodies of the Israeli captives.

While Channel 13 reported that an international team would enter Gaza within 24 hours to participate in the search for the bodies, other sources say that Netanyahu has decided to prevent that from happening.
