
Egypt Announces List of Leaders Participating in Sharm El-Sheikh Summit
SadaNews - The Egyptian authorities announced the leaders participating in the international summit hosted in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, this Monday afternoon, among them Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The official Egyptian news agency reported that the "Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit" involves participation by heads of states and kings:

According to official and media information from Egypt, the summit aims to finalize the signing of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip between Hamas and Israel.
The summit comes after the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into effect last Friday.
On October 9, President Trump announced that Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on the first phase of the ceasefire plan and prisoner exchange, following indirect negotiations between both parties in Sharm El-Sheikh, with the participation of Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar, under U.S. supervision.
With U.S. support, Israel has committed genocide in Gaza since October 8, 2023, resulting in 67,806 martyrs and 170,066 injuries, most of whom are children and women, and famine that claimed the lives of 463 Palestinians, including 157 children.
