Shaimaa Saif Separates from Her Husband Mohamed Carter for the Second Time

SadaNews - Social media was once again abuzz with news about the separation of Egyptian artist Shaimaa Saif from her husband, producer Mohamed Carter, after six years of marriage, especially after she appeared alone at the wedding of the son of artist Bayoumi Fouad.

A close source to the Egyptian artist confirmed to ET بالعربي that the divorce officially occurred between Shaimaa Saif and Mohamed Carter a few weeks ago, marking their second separation since their marriage in 2018.

The source noted that this separation was formal, unlike previous reports of quarrels between them that did not lead to actual separation.

The source added that Shaimaa Saif and Mohamed Carter preferred not to announce their divorce after it happened, fearing ridicule from social media users, especially since their separation had recurred several times over the past years.

The source explained that Shaimaa Saif disclosed her separation to her friends while attending the wedding of the son of artist Bayoumi Fouad last night, particularly since she attended alone and stayed close to artist Yousra, which drew attention to her presence alone without Carter.

At the same time, wedding planner Ahmed Yassin, who organized the wedding of Shaimaa Saif and Mohamed Carter, deleted all photos and videos of their wedding from his official Instagram account, which the public considered a confirmation of the end of their relationship through divorce.

In her first reaction after news of her separation, Shaimaa Saif unfollowed her husband, producer Mohamed Carter, on her official social media accounts.

On his part, Mohamed Carter ignored the issue and continued to post his daily life in a normal manner on his personal Instagram account, where he shared a photo with his father after losing weight, saying: "Hajj Mohamed on the right and his son Carter on the left, thank God who healed me."

This was not the first separation between Shaimaa Saif and Mohamed Carter, as the couple announced their first separation in February 2025 through a post on the Egyptian artist's Instagram, in which she wrote: "What God has decreed has happened, separation has occurred between me and my husband." Only a month later, they announced their reconciliation in March 2025.

Recently, Shaimaa Saif participated in the play "King and the Clever," which was performed in Saudi Arabia, centering around the character of the young man Hassan who embarks on several thrilling adventures to obtain the black dowry, a condition placed by the queen for marrying her sister, considering it the only means to end the curse that had befallen her years ago. She also appeared in the Ramadan Drama Season 2025 in the series "Ish Ish," co-starring Mai Omar, Magdy El Masry, and Hala Sedky, and directed by Mohamed Sami.
