The Occupation Army Issues Evacuation Orders for Several Buildings in Southern Lebanon
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation army issued evacuation orders for several buildings in southern Lebanon on Thursday evening, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli army stated in a statement that it "will attack, in the near future, military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah across southern Lebanon".
The Israeli army claimed that its airstrikes come "in response to its prohibited attempts to reconstruct its activities in the region".
It issued "an urgent warning to the residents of buildings, and the neighboring buildings in the villages of Mais al-Jabal, Kfar Tabbnit, and Dbayeh".
This comes as two people were killed during an Israeli drone strike targeting the Al-Asirah neighborhood in the city of Baalbek, eastern Lebanon, as part of the escalating Israeli aggressive attacks.
Israel has been launching repeated attacks in Lebanon despite the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024 after more than a year of confrontations that included an open war lasting two months, during which there was severe Israeli escalation against Lebanon.
Under U.S. pressure and fears of escalating Israeli strikes, the Lebanese government ordered the army last month to develop a plan to disarm Hezbollah. The Lebanese army must complete the disarmament process within three months in the southern part of the country, near the border with Israel.
